The Musical Chairs is a community based jazz band which welcomes people with disabilities and provide an avenue for members to develop their musical skills and become involved in the community by playing music with others.
Approximately one third of the band members have a disability, while other members do not. Thus, they achieve integration rather than providing a disability-specific activity. The opportunity to make friends and become a member of a community group is invaluable for people with disabilities who often experience isolation.
The Band 'Musical Chairs' was formed in 1998 through the foresight of the late John Morris of Australian Academy of Music and the enthusiasm and ongoing support of the Sporting Wheelies Association of Queensland. In 2000 River City Community Music Association took the band under their banner and provided much needed resources.
From modest beginnings the band has developed into a popular performing group of entertainers. Under the guidance of conductor Nikola Shaw, the band performs on a regular basis.
They are talented and inspiring . Their performances are energy charged and uplifting. In the hands of conductor Nikola Shaw, they play a combination of concert band style and jazz music. A memorable afternoon's entertainment. Musical Chairs is proud to welcome both disabled and able-bodied musicians into its ranks, and is always looking for new players.

Career Keys began through an identified need to strengthen the transition support services for the wider school community.
With experience delivering employment and transition services to high schools throughout Logan and surrounding districts, it became clear that it wasn't just school leavers that wanted help. The desire to meet this broader transitional need in the community saw Career Keys born.
Through their vision they aim to support young people, parents, business and the community to develop the confidence in life, social and work skills to successfully achieve their career goals.

Special Care Clothing Solutions |
The Special Care Clothing Solutions range has been developed to assist carers undertake the task of changing with ease, whilst at the same time helping to preserve the dignity of the person being dressed.
They began in 2006 when they created the initial range based on the need for adaptive clothing for a family member who was confined to a nursing home. Upon witnessing the difficulty carers had dressing her, and the indignity and discomfort she often endured, it became clear that there was a need for specially designed clothing.
There are now no boundaries to the adaptive clothing designs possible, and all requests are considered.
