Pashmina Wool

The word PASHMINA comes from the PERSIAN PASHM, meaning underbelly wool of mountain goats. These PASHMINA goats are found only in the Himalayan region of Asia and live in altitudes of `14,000 ft and above. The higher the habitat of the goat the finer the fibre. This high altitude, combined with the goats Spartan diet and genetic makeup enables it to grow this feather light wool. There is no parallel. It is no wonder that authentic pashmina garments are making resurgence around the globe.
