This year Adelaide is to host the biannual 'Coast to Coast' Conference from 20-24 September. The South Australian Environment Protection Authority is actively involved with the Organising Committee for this event and hopes to see you there. After all, it could be another 10 years before Adelaide is has the opportunity to host this event once again.

This National Coastal Management Conference provides an excellent forum for Australian coastal workers from Universities, consulting companies, community organisations and all levels of state and federal government. During this event all with an interest in coastal, estuarine and marine matters get together to celebrate Australia's coasts, and share knowledge and experiences on management, science, policy, governance, activism and many other topics.

The Coast to Coast Conference Organising Committee has developed a thorough program of appealing speakers, workshops, field trips and Q&A sessions for 2010 to build your knowledge of coastal management. Also planned are a number of social functions for attendees to network while enjoying fine food, drink, music and even a dance.

The Coast to Coast Organising Committee is currently interested in hearing from those interested in attending, sponsoring or exhibiting at this event, or those interested in submitting abstracts.

If you're interested in attending, hurry as early bird registrations close on 20 June 2010. The deadline for abstracts is 5th July 2010.
