Tom Gleeson
Tom Gleeson is one of Australia's favourite comedians. You may have seen him on Good News Week, The 7PM Project, Thank God You're Here or on the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Gala. It's hard to turn on the television and not see the man. He is the cool, calm, funny bugger behind every desk on every panel show doing the rounds. However, it is performing live on stage where he really shines. As a stand up, there is not much Tom hasn't done. He has performed several times at all three major comedy festivals in Melbourne, Edinburgh and Montreal, as well as the invite-only Kilkenny Comedy Festival in Ireland. He's been nominated for a Helpmann Award and won the Piece of Wood Comedian's Choice Award at the 2008 Melbourne Comedy Festival.
Tom has performed at the Sydney Opera House, every capital city in Australia, London, Dublin, New York, Los Angeles, Singapore, Jakarta as well as entertaining the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was also selected to perform yearly as part of the Melbourne Comedy Festival Roadshow from 2001 - 2007.
Not content with conquering tv, radio and stand-up, Tom has also been published by UNSW Press with his book "Playing Poker with the SAS: A Comedy Tour of Iraq and Afghanistan". This follows up his story "The Italian Job". It appears in "Take Me With You" a collection of tales of long distance love edited by Sarah MacDonald for Random House.
With a 2007 Helpmann Award nomination for Best Comedy Performer under his belt, wit as his weapon of choice, and humour as his hand grenade, Gleeson goes straight to the comedic front line with all guns a-blazing.

Kitty Flanagan
Renowned as one of Australia's busiest and best stand up comics, Kitty Flanagan has had her dial on the telly enough times to turn the occasional head in a suburban McDonalds outlet.
Secretly Kitty always wanted to be an actor, however she knew she would never survive acting school. Her inner voice wouldn't shut up long enough to let her do serious things like Shakespeare or mime classes that required you to wave about like a sheaf of wheat in the wind or melt like an ice cream in the sun.
She tried to be a P.E teacher for a while, this time ignoring her inner voice which was now screaming: "You cannot be serious!" (She was still really into tennis and her inner voice had started to sound a lot like John McEnroe.)
Advertising beckoned next as it seemed like the job that paid the most money for the least amount of qualifications. For five years she masqueraded as a copywriter. Eventually she was fired. She doesn't know why and sadly, she doesn't care.
Believing her true calling to be pulling beers, she went to work in a bar. And then she tried doing standup. And then she got a job on Full Frontal (a sketch show, not a nudie mag). And then she moved to London and did lots of standup. Heaps of it.
She performed at all the Festivals including Edinburgh, Kilkenny, even Cape Town. She did another sketch show, an English one this time. And then she made a short film. And she won awards. All the while she did more standup. And she got commissioned to write things for the BBC. And for Channel Four.
And then she moved back to Australia. Which is where she is now. Still doing standup. Still writing for film and television. The end.

Dave Hughes
Dave is one of the biggest names in stand up comedy in Australia. A natural and un-mistakably Australian comic. Dave's iconic style thinly disguses one of the fastest comic minds this country has ever seen.
It was at the Melbourne Comedy Festival in 1999 that Hughesy was forced to move from a tiny upstairs city bar into a 300-seat room at the Melbourne Town Hall. Word had started to spread about this impossibly laid back guy from Warrnambool.
Since 1999 the word has spread even further and Hughesy has become one of the biggest and most loved names in
Australian stand up comedy. Honest and imperfect is how Australians like their comedy and Dave Hughes delivers exactly that in spades.
Along with Kate Langbroek, Hughesy makes up Melbourne's Nova 100 breakfast team. And if that's not enough, he can be seen on Network Ten's Before the Game during the AFL footy season, and also on the highly successful light-entertainment program, Rove.
His very first DVD, aptly titled Dave Hughes LIVE was released in September 2006 through Liberation Music. Hughesy was also on the telly as a permanent cast member of The Glass House and is also on Network Ten's AFL Program Before The Game every Saturday night during the football season. In 2003 he broke the record for the most tickets sold for a Melbourne Comedy Festival season ever.
Long a Melbourne only phenomena Hughesy is now truly national, with sold out live shows across the country fuelled by a bit of TV with the 7.00pm project and a lot of word of mouth.

She is also well known as a stand up comic, with Rove Live appearances, regular segments on ABC TV´s The Sideshow, several appearances on The Comedy Channel´s Stand Up! Australia under her belt, as well as being a member of the negating team with Stephen K Amos and Greg Fleet in the 2007 Melbourne International Comedy Festival´s Great Debate which aired on Network Ten. In 2005, she was selected to perform in "The Comedy Zone", Melbourne International Comedy Festival´s new acts line-up and won "Best and Fairest" at the National Improvisation Championships in Sydney.
Claire hit the comedy festival circuit running, scoring a Best Newcomer nomination at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2006 and a place in Scotland on Sunday's top five comedy picks of the Edinburgh Fringe. Anh Do
Anh Do is one of Australia's most popular and well- loved comedians. He's done over 1500 comedy performances throughout Australia and Overseas. Anh's clean, corporate friendly material and absolute reliability make him one of the country's top corporate entertainers and a regular on TV.
Anh Do has won all the comedy awards around town, including the Sydney Comedian of the Year, and appeared multiple times on popular shows such as Thank God You're Here, Spicks and Specks, Rove Live, and The Footy Show. Anh Do also competed in the 2007 series of Dancing with the stars.
Anh's corporate clients are a list of Australia's biggest companies, including Telstra, McDonald's, Toyota, and he is the comedian of choice whom John Howard and Kevin Rudd call upon when they need someone whom they can trust to host their event.
Anh's immense popularity and suitability as a corporate entertainer probably has to do with his dark and shameful past. Anh started out as a lawyer. After studying law and commerce for 5 years Anh got job offers from both law and accounting firms. He could've been Australia's funniest accountant or even Western Sydney's most charismatic Lawyer. He turned down both to become a comedian and has since won every comedy award in NSW - Anh is the only comedian to have ever achieved this feat.
In 2003 Anh co-produced with his brother the film "The Finished People". The film, described by Margaret Pomeranz as 'one of the best Australian films of the year' was officially selected for the Montreal International Film Festival and released by Dendy in Australia to rave reviews. From after dinner entertainment to conferences, client parties and product launches, Anh Do has delighted hundreds of clients including Telstra, McDonald's and Toyota.
