Our experienced fishing guides are amongst the most professional and knowledgeable in the fishing world. Our guides will generally accompany two or three anglers in a boat, providing their expertise throughout the day in terms of "finding the right spots" and using the "right equipment".

Michael Benton:
Michael was born and bred in the Northern Territory and has spent the last 18 years on the Tiwi Islands. His knowledge of fishing is unmatched and his "one-liners" will ensure that your day on the water is fun and memorable.

David Taat:
Born in Broome, the son of a Malay pearl diver, David has a vast experience in the world of fishing, working side by side with his father in the pearl-rich waters off the Kimberley Coast. Having spent most of his life on the Tiwi Islands, David probably knows the river and estuary systems better than just about anyone.

Glen Dunn: Born and breed on the Tiwi Islands, Glen has been aptly nicknamed "The Tiwi Encyclopaedia", because of his unbelievable in-depth knowledge of fishing and Tiwi Culture and knowledge. Management and Staff are very proud of "Local Fishing Tour Guide" Glen Dunn who was awarded the Territory Tidy Towns CITIZEN OF THE YEAR AWARD 2008
Glen has contributed greatly to working hard within the lodge and achieving this great honour, he has set a great example to his work colleagues,community,family/friends and TO's of Pirlangimpi (Garden Point) that you can achieve success without having to leave your community. Well Done Glen Keep Up the Great Work.

Clinton (Kinky) Rioli: Is also a Tiwi Islander and has great family ties to the island, he is the son of Sibby Rioli and brother to the famous Dean Rioli and Cyril Jnr Rioli. Kinky as he is aptly nick named has vast knowledge of the culture and waterways. He is very hard working and has also created a great reputation with our regular clientele.

Although we are primarily a sport-fishing destination, there are other lodge activities and local experiences which you may care to enjoy. We realise that sometimes it's nice to just sit back and relax for a couple of hours, so there's lots of comfortable chairs and lounges for you to wind down with a book or a cold drink.(Or even that afternoon nap!)

Remember that we have plenty of DVD's available or you may care to simply watch a bit of sport on TV.

And given that our well stocked bar is open all day, there's always the opportunity to enjoy a nice cold drink! More information on other activities
